I posted the link in a group chat with friends. A little over ten people came in on the first day.
What I learned.
- Almost everyone comes in through KakaoTalk’s in-app browser. But Google sign-in is blocked there.
- Most of them stopped in the tutorial section. The first five minutes are everything.
- Only a few people agreed to send their play records. Still, one person’s records told me quite a lot. Down to which boss they died to twice before quitting.
What I did.
- Inside KakaoTalk, an “Open in browser” notice now shows up
- Added a share card so a sent link shows a title and a picture
- The first five minutes — still thinking about it
Getting people in is harder than making things.
